At the PalliAmi Foundation, accompaniment is first and foremost a human presence marked by gentleness, listening, and dignity. Whether with people receiving palliative care, people at the end of life, or bereaved people, we believe that no one should go through these moments alone.
To accompany is to be present with kindness, offer a listening ear, welcome emotions without judgment, and create a space where each person feels heard, supported, and respected in their lived experience. Through its volunteers, activities, and support services, PalliAmi seeks to ease these transitions in life by bringing comfort, humanity, and compassion to everyone we accompany.
